I'm having some difficulty navigating this forum.

Been trying to find the Post option, I've been able to in the past so not sure why I'm missing it now. 

I see the + icon "add content" and wonder if that's it but when click it I get a very long, and deeply nested, list of forums to choose from,  it's just baffling. So I've ended where, where there is an option to post a note.

All I'm truing to do is figure out how to add a time stamp to an entry in a note. 

Where there are modifiers available it's simple, but how to you use those shortcuts when Ctrl/Alt modifiers are not available?
