  1. Even after quitting and restarting the application (version 10.1.7 build 1902, Editor v109.0.14125) the encrypted text remains visible in the Snippet View.
  2. After encrypting text in a noted near the start of the note, a new password for example, the unencrypted text remains visible in the Snippet View. Even after switching to a different notebook and back again, the "encrypted" text remains visible in the Snippet View. This is a severe security issue that makes it impossible to rely on encrypted text when working in a public area.
  3. Glad to see I'm not the only one annoyed by the long list of frequently used (by me) features that have disappeared in version 10. In addition to those I had time to find in what's already been posted, here are a few more: Insert date/time used to allow the format to be specified. It is no longer useful as I need to use it. Keyboard shortcut was also changed. Indent and un-indent keyboard shortcuts are gone. Guessing MANY other shortcuts are gone. Preferences being reduced to one flag "Save Data at Log Out" is just an enormous slap in the face of anyone whose workflow ha
  4. Thanks for responding so quickly that other's were not seeing this problem. Problem disappeared after a reboot. Possibly originally caused by rebooting a router between Comcast and the computer without rebooting the computer. Only a guess though. Haven't seen this kind of a problem before and it was oddly specific - Only triggered by Evernote Sync function (not Dropbox, Google Drive, iCloud, etc...)
  5. Yesterday (2017-04-25), my Evernote client (Windows 10, 6.5.4.4720) began popping up Security Alert windows about an expired www.comcast.net certificate. This happens every time it tries to sync. It appears that the only way I'll be able to sync now is if I start trusting this self-signed certificate which describes itself as valid from 2014-09-17 to 2015-09-07. Why should I? So Sync is now broken on Windows 10. This is a critical bug.
  6. Severe bug in synchronization. Notes edited on iOS client. Windows client is idle, not being used to modify the note in any way. The original notes contain a number of ink/handwriting images, no text other than some white space to separate the ink. The synchronization code is making the following errors: Duplicating ink images. Often the duplicate is an earlier version of the ink image. Re-inserting ink images that were deleted from the note. Losing ink image edits. This is the most severe issue as it is non-recoverable. The edits are just gone. In additition, duplic
  7. It is actually a severe bug. The Windows client isn't being used to modify the note in any way. The original notes contain a number of ink/handwriting images, no text other than some white space to separate the ink. The synchronization code is making the following errors: incorrectly converting the ink images to ordinary images (after which it become impossible to continue editing them on the iOS client). [Edit: This actually only happens if the note is duplicated.] Duplicating ink images. Often the duplicate is an earlier version of the ink image. Re-inserting ink image
  8. "Conflicting modifications" These are synchronization failures. I typically have Windows 10 and iOS clients open. My daily work notes are made to a single note on the iOS client. Two days running now, by the end of the day the note has lost edits and displays "Conflicting modifications" on both clients. There doesn't seem to be a damn thing you can do about it! There used to be a folder where you could find the conflicting versions of the note to manually recover the situation. Can't find anything on either client relevant to fixing conflicts. General feedback: As a long time u
  9. The update does NOT preserve existing functionality. I use the Apple pencil on an iPad with Evernote to maintain my daily working notes. Every day starts by duplicating yesterday's note, erasing things I completed, and I was good to go. Each note contained a number of full screen handwriting "images" that I could tap to resume editing. Now, after a duplicate, all of the "images" lose the ability for further editing. Please restore the ability to always continue editing handwriting notes.
