  1. I think it may be a problem with designers being arrogant and insensitive as to the usability of their products. "Who cares if they can't read it. It's beautiful just the way it is. Allowing users to customize the style would spoil my beautiful design!" This is hardly limited to EN. Outlook is a pretty cool program, but I use Thunderbird instead because the UI is more flexible (although not as flexible as it once was. Lots of examples like that. Sigh!
  2. It's not "nice." It's basic. Show me another text editor that does not have this feature. Not to digress too much, but this is similar to not being able to adjust the height of rows in tables. This facility is so basic that it's omission is crazy-making.
  3. I would like this feature as well. People here are making arguments in favor of this request. However, no arguments need be made. It's obvious. Since antiquity, starting with Microsoft Word and Excel and a half-dozen other programs I can think of off the top of my head, adjusting column width and row height is a feature baked into the way tables work. It is not in any way a frivolous request, and it's usefulness and functionality is obvious. And the frustration of not being able to adjust row height is obvious on the comments here, and reflect my feelings as well. Thanks for listening.
