  1. To close the loop, I did use AppCleaner for the uninstall and did restart the Mac after uninstalling. For about a day everything ran fine, then the high power consumption resumed.
  2. Not surprisingly the Max OS upgrade did not solve the problem. I then proceeded to do a clean uninstall/reinstall and unfortunately the high energy consumption has returned. Makes it hard to use the application when on battery power.
  3. Thank you for the suggestion. I performed an upgrade to MacOS 13.5 last night and so far today Evernote power consumption has been normal.
  4. Running Evernote on a new MacBook Pro (M2) and Ventura 13.4.1 started noticing significant batter drain in the past week which seems to coincide with an Evernote app update. Makes running Evernote on a Mac almost unusable. Restart app and OS with no sustained benefit.
