  1. Thanks for this solution. It solved my exact problem as well, when I upgraded to a new Macbook Pro with M2 chip.
  2. Just so you don't all think this was a one off, I have the same problem after porting Evernote from my old MacBook to a new M2 Pro. I really don't think any of you should have insinuated the fellow that raised the problem was stupid or wasting your time. Thank goodness he found the solution and I'm going to try it now. OK, just tried the recommended solution. It appears that Apple software does not delete all the entries and I had to manually delete several folders. After doing that, and reinstalling, it works fine.
