Every time I open a note the spacing of a hard return has doubled

Every time I open a note the spacing of a hard return has doubled.  My most used notes have become unusable because they are now too long and spaced apart.  Any advice?

Same issue here! 

'EN 7.9.3, Google stock keyboard'

I've observed that this happens in notes where I have pasted a text copied from a website. The newer version retains the text formatting and size of text from the website. 

In such notes, new-lines are increasingly being introduced after every edit. 

 

(the space has been introduced  in the image due to the same. It was a one line gap earlier)(on every edit, a new line gets inserted)

Yes it malfunctioned because of copying.  Evernote 7.9.3 and Google Keyboard 5.1.23.1 27065177-arm64-v8a I use Evernote every day.  Thank you for your hard work! ?
