Paulo Diovani 3
All notes in Evernote Web are opened as editable. This could cause accidental editing. Would be much safer to show notes as read only and allow editing after pressing an edit button. Just like happens on Evernote Android app. 2 Link to comment
0 juliohm 5
That's a good point. I'd like to see that implemented. Link to comment
0 scruggles 48
@Paulo Diovani Thanks for the feedback! This isn't currently on our backlog, as we're focused on allowing users to edit notes as quickly as possible. The Mac Client works like the web client, with all notes being editable as soon as your launch. Link to comment
0 Shivam12345 1
@scruggles @Paulo Diovani idea is not only to take notes but to read them also, it should be of same priority, make it editable at first to keep "edit note as quickly as possible" but provide option of lock page/ read page mode, which not only stop from editing but also remove red underline for wrong spellings & make page lock remember its setting for a particular note.
