(Archived) Two Quick Questions

Hi.

1] Is it possible to hide the font formatting toolbar in list view? I can't find a pref or menu item to make it disappear.

2] Why doesn't Evernote maintain my column widths between starts?

There's no way to remove the formatting bar at the top of the note. You can toggle between "More Info" and "Less Info" to change the amount of information displayed about the note, but no way to remove the header entirely.

I just did some tests using our List View, and when I make a column (e.g. "Notebook") wider in the list view and then Quit Evernote and restart it, the wider column persists. If you're seeing something different, could you provide more details about the steps you're performing?

I just noticed it's the Notebooks column (Tags, Attributes, etc.) on the left that returns to a default width between starts, not the columns in the notes list. I guess I noticed at all because I like to keep the Notebooks column very skinny.
