Evernote for Windows freezes at pasting something.

Windows : Win 7 Sp1 64Bit

Evernote for Windows : 5.9.1

 

When I copy any text (ASCII data) that includes Japanese(2 byte) characters from a text editor and past it to Evernote for Windows, it freezes every time.

If the text doesn't include Japanese characters, I mean only 1 byte characters like "hello world", I can past it.

 

What is wrong?

I've seen others posting with difficulties apparently caused by non-English characters.  I'd suggest you raise a support request.  Free users don't get access to email support,  but you can use Twitter and @EvernoteHelps.  Plus and premium users can access more help by logging in here https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action
