Evernote won't update on a Mac

Hi - I am trying to update Evernote from 6.0.13 to 6.1, and every time I try to do so, the update fails with a "Update Error!" notice. The error notice comes at the end of extracting the update. Anybody got any ideas for how to fix this? I am running Mac OS 10.10.5. Thanks in advance for the help.

"null" is, in fact, a bad URL.

If you have been trying to update via the EN Mac app update process, you might try a manual update using the process in this Evernote KB Article: How do I uninstall and reinstall Evernote [App]?

The last step is to download/install from the Evernote.com site.

Thanks for the advice - I was hoping that it might be possible to avoid the manual update, but maybe that's what I have to do. It seems like something Evernote should fix though...
