Search -notebook: Problem

Hi,

Got a Question about the search

i see everywhere that we can either search with tag: or -tag:

 

but i get some eradicate result when i try it with -notebook: ?

is this well implemented or is it just me?

 

What i want is all the note that are not in a specific notebook, and it does not seem to work correctly, i get some result but not all the notes, i cannot pin point how it behave but it is not what i think it is suppose to do.

 

Anybody have a issue with this?

Found a few answer but in the search bar nothing come out if you search in the forum for -notebook:, you need to search for search notebook exclud

-notebook is not allowed with Evernote grammar.

The notebook expression cannot be negated.

For one time searches, bulk-adding & bulk-removing a special temporary tag can be done in a few seconds.
