Nkleszcz 0
Hello! Forgive me if this has been handled somewhere else. In short, I would very much like to record a speech-to-text note, using a "microphone next to the spacebar" on my iPhone 4, just like as it is in the pictures, just like as it is on my Android device. It's not there. There *is* a microphone above the keyboard, but that only creates audio files. And--no--it does not select "speech-to-text" if you hold it long enough. And yes, I have the latest version of Evernote. And yes, I have scoured the forums and have not found a single complaint of this sort answered. Can somebody help? Thanks! Link to comment
Ex Employees charboyd 272 Posted August 4, 2015 Ex Employees Share Posted August 4, 2015 Text to speech is not an Evernote feature, but instead provided through your device's features. If you'd prefer to dictate text notes into Evernote, you can use your device's speech-to-text features. We've compiled information on how to perform this task on different devices in our Knowledge Base article: https://evernote.com/contact/support/kb/#!/article/104459303 Your iPhone 4 may not be compatible with this feature as it requires Siri, but there are plenty of app that may resolve this issue your you. Nkleszcz 0
I just looked at the second article, where "debop" said: There is a free app called "voice texting pro" in itunes. It works independentaly of messaging but it does work. You say your text and use your contacts list to send. So... correct me if I'm wrong. If I download this app, am I to then email my voice-to-text notes directly to my evernote account? And that's how it's resolved? Link to comment
