Does Evernote capture information about my Google search even though I tun off "Related Results"

I use the Evernote Web Clipper, and recently while searching with Google, or browsing Youtube, Evernote has starting suggesting results or telling me that Youtube videos can be clipped.

It seems like it is possible to turn this feature off, which is described as "Show Evernote content related to my web searches".

 

The question is, will Evernote servers still capture my Google search query?

Hi Richard,

This is a feature in the Evernote Web Clipper.

 

Evernote does not save or store anything about your web searches even if you keep the Related Results feature on. We look at the results page of the search and pass this in to our API that looks for related notes in your account and matches are displayed. Nothing is stored.

 

If you turn the feature off then this query against our API will not happen.
