engberg 89
If you can reproduce this on a particular web page, can you send us the URL of the page? What operating system are you using? Do you have our client application installed on your computer, or are you just clipping directly to the web service? Thanks Link to comment

ulfcihak 0
(The following problem ticket answer was obtained through the support channel )Ulf, There are certain pages from which Evernote is able to directly clip, due to embedded content or other script running on the page. In those instances, we suggest highlighting the text you wish to keep with Ctrl-C and then pasting it into Notepad, and pasting that into Evernote at a later time. If you have our desktop client installed, you can use our Screenshot Clipper in these cases to take a screenshot of the window in question, which will send the data into Evernote minus the errant script. Sorry for the inconvenience! Evernote Support I am sorry, and disappointed, to hear this from you. The procedure to copy/paste into/from notepad sounds clumsy, unelegant, dreadful, and unacceptable to me. Screenshots with the desktop client are no solution at all, because the logical screen to clip is much bigger than the physical screen (scrolling necessary). I have another software, called WebRecherche (from Macropool), which can make perfect Web Archives from all those websites. And still another software, SnagIt, which also makes beautiful archives from all those websites in question. I hoped to replace WebRecherche by Evernote, but with those clipping problems, this is out of question. I am not satisfied with your answer. If it would be possible for me to hold this support ticket open, I would do so. Thank you, Ulf Cihak Link to comment
engberg 89
We're still investigating specific issues with Firefox 3.6. This is a brand new browser, and it appears that it may cause some issues with Evernote. Thanks for the report. Link to comment
