PDF - save annotation changes

Hi guys

I got a problem with my Evernote workflow:

 

Till this day I used the normal mac preview to annotate my PDF files which are saved in Evernote. I just double clicked the file in Evernote, did my changes and pressed save. Evernote took notice of the changes automatically.

 

Today I switched to a new program where it is not longer possible to save the changed file back to Evernote. What am I doing wrong?

I use Adobe Acrobat Pro to annotate PDFs I have in Evernote, and it works fine.

What "new program" are you using?

You might provide details of what happens when you Save and Close the PDF in your "new program".

It's called PDF Expert. I don't think that matters. Do I have to give a program special write/read rights on the mac?

Normally, no.

 

You might have to set it as the default app for PDFs.

Test it using a PDF on your hard drive.

Can you double-click on the PDF, add annotations, save, and close, then re-open to confirm changes?
