No Evernote Window

Hozboz

Idea

Evernote fails to show a window. Yes, I've gone to the FILE tab and tried to click on "New Evernote Window." However, those selections are greyed out (not functioning). I have to re-install Evernote every time I re-start my computer to have an Evernote window visible and functioning. What is causing this non-window behavior after a re-start?

For this type of problem, often a simple reinstall of the app usually will fix the problem.

This should not affect any of your Notes or other data.

But if you have any Local Notebooks, you might want to export them to ENEX files just to be safe.

To reinstall the app, see Evernote KB Article: How do I uninstall and reinstall Evernote [App]?

If that is what you have done, and it does not fix your issue, then you may need to do a clean reinstall.

See How to Completely Remove and Reinstall EN Mac

@Hozboz:

If the clean reinstall did not fix your issue, then there is something unique to your system that is causing this problem.

To resolve this you will need to Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. In the Support Form, select "Report a bug", and start the Ticket Title with "BUG:  " to make it clear.  Reporting a bug should be available to all users, including Free Account owners.  Other Ticket types available to Free users are "Data Loss", "Crash", & "Sync Issue".
