arkl 2
I have laoded, deleted, and reloaded Evernote for my desktop an innumerable amount of times that past 2 months but it just hangs. I have to force quit. All of my students running the same machines have no problem. My school upgraded all things to Yosemite last week, so I thought maybe it would work, but same problem. Not even IT knows where to go with it.Suggestions would be welcome. Thanks, arkl Link to comment

Level 5* gazumped 12,063 Posted April 24, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted April 24, 2015 Hi. Bad news I know, but try once more to install and run Evernote. If it won't do so and provided you have no local notebooks or unsynced notes use (or ask IT to use) Appcleaner http://www.freemacsoft.net/appcleaner/ to remove all traces of Evernote from your system, and restart your device. Re-download EN from Evernote.com and reinstall.* If you do have (or are unsure whether or not you have) one or more local notebooks, or if a clean reinstall fails, submit a support request by choosing the appropriate option in the first dropdown after logging in here> https://www.evernote.com/SupportLogin.action I'm assuming you're a premium / educational user - if not, it's probably worth being premium for a month or two to get this fixed! Premium / Business users also have access to Chat (weekdays 7am-7pm PST). After logging in, click 'continue' on the support page Edit: * sorry, should also have said; sometimes there's a delay in getting started again after an update because of database upgrades or maintenance on the local device. Give it a few hours if necessary, and restart the machine before deciding the installation didn't work, Link to comment
