I have invited 2 friends to Evernote but they have not received an email with their code?

Have your friends checked their respective spam folders?  If Evernote is a new sender in their email system,  the messages may have been trapped automatically.

 

I've not tried re-sending invitations,  but you could give that a shot and include another email address of your own  -if you have a 'spare'-  to monitor when/ if the emails are received.
