Lost content when syncing

So, I use evernote on my computer on a daily basis, but I had not used it on my phone in a long time.  I went into the app on my phone today and the content was from months ago when I last used the app.  I added a line to one of my notes before I realized this.  Then when I hit sync, it synced the old content that was on my phone into the note and I lost all the content from the last few months.  Is there anyway to recover the lost content?

On the desktop client,use the note history to restore an older version.
