pitt 1
I'm looking for suggestions about taking notes in recurring conversations. Is it best to start a new note for each conversation or something else so that I can refer back easily to the past conversations. Link to comment
Level 5* gazumped 12,037 Posted February 23, 2015 Level 5* Share Posted February 23, 2015 Hi. I hate long notes - they're difficult to navigate through, read, search within, and edit. If you're talking to John Smith repeatedly I'd suggest you include "John Smith" and some keywords on your chat in the title of a new note each time you talk. Search for intitle:"John Smith" (with the quotes) and list by "created date" and you'll have a list of all the dates of your chats, in order, with keywords to help find a specific note quickly. You can open your current note in a separate window (assuming you're using a tablet or desktop) while also referring back to a previous note to check on exactly what was said. Link to comment
