EvernoteForever 0 Posted February 19, 2015 Share Posted February 19, 2015 I would greatly appreciate knowing what condition(s) could give rise to the error message "Evernote is not ready to accept clips. Please open the database and try again." (desktop client and Windows 8.1). In my case, once I see that message i have to do a complete system refresh using a backup system image (Revo uninstaller hasn't been sufficient). And then the message comes up again after a while. I do not seem to have any recent notes that would have been created by the "clip screenshot" feature. Would regenerating the database immediately after a system reinstall be a suitable next step to take? Link to comment
