Crashy in Yosemite

First, you might Submit a BUG report via an EN Support Ticket. In the Support Form, select "Report a bug, crash, or data lost", and start the Ticket Title with "BUG:  " to make it clear.  Reporting a bug should be available to all users, including Free Account owners.


So, I can think of three possible remedies:

  1. Maybe you have a few corrupt Notes.
    1. If these crashes seem to be isolated to one Note, or small group of Notes, you might recreate them (but NOT copy them) and then delete the originals.  Sometimes a Note can become corrupt, or have very large attachments, or a very large amount of text that can cause problems.
  2. Maybe the EN app didn't get installed properly.
    1. Move the Evernote.app to the trash
    2. Redownload Evernote
    3. Reinstall
  3. Maybe the Evernote database has become corrupt
