Note Synced Back to Older Version; Month of Updates Lost

Hello,

 

I have a note i've been adding text to weekly for several months.  My last edit was last week.  Today I opened the note and the text is a version from 18 Dec 14.  All of the recent text is missing.  The old view displays on my PC, my iPad and the evernote.com web view, so i guess my text is really gone.  I am now very concerned for the integrity of all of my notes.  Any ideas as to how i could have synced back to an obsolete version ?

If you are a Premium account owner, you might check the Note History.

 

I've seen this issue reported a number of times, and it's never been clear what is causing it.

For this reason, I recommend creating a NEW Note for each major new entry.

Later, you can either merge the Notes, or create a TOC Note.

 

Of course, many of us highly recommend that every user have an active Backup system, that makes a backup at least daily, if not hourly.
