Sharing a workbook with a friend

Hi,

 

Im new to Evernote (basic not premium).  I have setup a workbook on my iPhone app and invited a friend to share said workbook, he received the email, accepted and tried to join my workbook on his iPhone app.  This did not work.  He then tried on his PC and it worked.  However he has reverted to his iPhone and still can not see the shared workbook.

 

I've tried to find a solution and think I read that a user needs to subscribe to premium in order to view and edit notes in a shared workbook on an iPhone.  Any clarification or assistance would be much appreciated.

I don't think you need to be premium to join a shared notebook,  but there are some problems with sharing.  You should now have the option to share information via Work Chat - does that work for you?
