"Classic Link" in Evernote 6

korm

Idea

The "Classic Link" option is not available in Evernote 6 menus.   This is the link in the form:

evernote:///view/239650/s3/2da710ef-ff7d-4121-872c-621e2e4dafca/2da710ef-ff7d-4121-872c-621e2e4dafca/

The only link available for copying to the clipboard is the html link that opens the note in the web interface.   That's fine, if we want to send a link in an email or social message, but if we need the link for use on the local machine and we want the note to open in the desktop client, or we don't want to launch a browser, or any of several reasons, then the "class link" is needed.

For now, I can make an AppleScript to grab the link, but I want it added back to Evernote 6 and subsequent releases.

Sorry, the context menu is still there, it’s just a little harder to get to.

You need to be pressing the option key before you bring up the context menu.

This is not correct behaviour and I have reported the issue internally.

Well, that's a feature.

Another bug -- pressing Option before clicking the "Note" menu makes the "Copy Note Link" item disappear from that menu.  (Not sure why anyone would do this ... but there you are.)
