Don Brett 0
I just upgraded to the premium version and am having a problem that I can't solve with scanning pdf's.I work for a company where we all share a large scanner, printer, fax, etc. When I go to scan and email the file to myself, it comes over as a pdf. When i open the pdf and clip it into evernote, the image goes into the evenote -- however, it is not searchable. I checked in the forums before posting and I don't get an option to save as a searchable verison. Any help would be appreciated.- Don Link to comment
Don Brett 0
I got this to work with my blackberry a few minutes ago, however the Evernote app on my PC isn't recognizing the text words in my pdf.I had 3.5 beta installed, then I reverted back to the older version 3.1 - however, still not working. engberg 89
Please try searching for the text of one of these PDFs on the web. If you can find it there, then the problem may be on your PC.From your Windows PC, you can try:File > ExitDownload and install this pre-release version of the Windows client:http://www.evernote.com/about/download/ ... aseWinBeta Link to comment
Cuprous 0
I have the same problem with my company's Kyocera scanner. When I am home and scan via the ScanSnap 1500 I have no problems (I let Evernote perform OCR). Link to comment
