Kathryn R 1
I store documents in evernote that I sometimes duplicate and edit. I usually save the edited versions to my desktop then upload them to Evernote after. I forgot to move the new document to my desktop and I don't know where it is now. When I move them to the desktop the folder I move them from is a long list of numbers. Where can I find this folder so I can recover the document I just created? Link to comment
Level 5* JMichaelTX 4,118 Posted October 27, 2014 Level 5* Share Posted October 27, 2014 I am unclear on your actual process, but most apps have a "Recent Files..." feature on the "File" menu. You might check there to see if your lost document is listed there. Going forward, I would recommend that you do a "Save As..." on the document in Evernote, and give the file a NEW name when you save it. This will avoid Evernote thinking that you are updating the file in Evernote. Link to comment
Kathryn R 1
I did a "Save As", I'm using a Mac so I opened the pages document I had saved in EN, created a duplicate, gave it a different name, then saved and closed it. I have no idea where it went after this. Link to comment
Kathryn R 1
Figured it out... Opened pages, recent files, there it was. Thanks... Link to comment
