Mis-synced data, confidence dropping

I have a note, created in a batch of notes, from the end of last year. All is fine on my Mac and Ipad. On my iphone, the note is missing a pdf file and has text from one of the other notes created the same day (and the other note has nothing in it at all).

 

This is back to the bad old days when Evernote was beginning (in its second incarnation). Combined with a farce in installing EN on a brand new surface pro (I was advised to wait until the next update, which seems to be taking ages) and a deeply unimpressive experience of contacting support. my confidence in the everything bucket has dropped.
