Unable to Connect to Server

Help! My evernote program is installed in my Windows 7.0 laptop and it won't let me login because it says that the program is unable to connect to the server... i have perfect WIFI connection, and I know my username and password are correct!

 

Any suggestions to this problem? Also, I haven't upgraded to the premium version, but I know I have enough space left on my account to have the notes that I do, so I don't think that's the problem..

Evernote made some changes to improve security that may have affected you.

One important thing to do,  whether or not you use Internet Explorer to browse;  go to
Internet Explorer > Settings > Internet Options > Advanced.
scroll down to Security
Check "Use TLS 1.0 / 1.1 / 1.2".  and UNcheck any SSL boxes.

Then retry syncing.
