fletchni 4
Hi, Does anyone know the difference between the "Skitch PDF" export and option and simply the "PDF" export option. Just curious as to why they would have two different PDF options. I did search, but naturally Evernote don't provide any detailed help... just a getting started guide that naturally doesn't include all options. Thanks in advance, Nic. Link to comment
klang 38
The Skitch PDF format keeps the PDF editable by Skitch / Annotation in Evernote. Hope that helps. Link to comment
Smitter 1
While on this topic. Can you shed some light on how to change the Export quality from the default of 85% to 100% for PDF? Seems to be locked. Not sure why any users would want to make a Skitch screen grab and then export it with a 15% loss in quality (ie introducing unnecessary blur) for no apparent gain (a few KBs in size?) Smitter 1
Ah, seems if you switch to JPG it "unlocks" the slider so you can change it to 100%. Then when you switch it back to PDF it "locks" the quality slider again. That doesn't sound like a feature, more like a bug, no? Link to comment
Frank Furter 0
I'd like to revive this post - I've been using Skitch for a few years, I love it, but I've always meant to figure out why the default export quality is 85%. I can change it to 100%, but why does it default to 85%? I see no way to set it to 100% permanently. Link to comment
