Strange checkbox behavior on iOs (iPhone 4S, 5S)

Me (iPhone 4S) and my wife (iPhone 5S) experienced strange checkbox behavior in Evernote for iOS.

 

Steps to reproduce:

• Create a todo-style note with 50-60 lines each marked with checkbox in the beginning. 
• Close and open the note for reading
• Scroll/zoom in/zoom out the note in random order
• Randomly try to check/uncheck checkboxes

Unexpected behaviour (each of options below can happen in random manner by chance, once happened the unexpected behavior became stable):

• Once clicked checkbox became checked and then unchecked again
• Another random checkbox in the note became checked or unchecked
• Nothing happened till you try click a place near checkbox; only after that checkbox switches its state.
