Clustering of notes/articles

I am using Evernote heavily for storing notes and research papers. Would be nice to have some kind automated clustering and classification capability with nice visualisations to remember and keep track on everything. Ultimately the application could utilise, with permission of course,  metadata/data collected from  other users as well. ...using that the tool could also give recommendations of new articles based on the distilled profiles. And why not targeted advertisements for those who do not like to pay the price of the premium version

Thanks for the suggestion.  I don't know that Evernote has the intention of becoming a more rounded research tool in that way,  and it does seem that they're (at present,  at least) going for minimalist functionality across many platforms,  leaving the more specialised features for others to develop or provide.  The developers do,  however read these pages,  so your idea has been noted...
