I know Evernote hates Linux but I am still dropping this here hoping things could be better in future.

Thanks for the report. We don't hate Linux but we don't have any clients developed for it at the moment. I've logged this as a bug and will look into a fix for it. Can you post what Linux configuration and browser version you are running?

If possible can you do me a favor and test the new Clipper beta version that's available here: https://discussion.evernote.com/topic/62210-chrome-web-clipper-62-beta/

I don't run Linux so cannot check if this bug is carried over in the new version that we're working on.

The beta also suffers from the same problem. Fonts get chopped off in both plugin and severely in its settings page.
