Picture resize

When I insert a picture into a note, it defaults to filling out the note window. 

 

Is there an easy way to resize pictures in Evernote without having to open the picture in a picture editor? Just the option to drag via corners of the picture would be great.

If you have Evernote Skitch installed too you should be able to use that with minimal 'external' action,  but there's no other option in Evernote (yet) I'm afraid.  An editor rewrite is supposedly under way,  and I guess this might be a feature of that,  but we don't know when that will come out.
