(Archived) drag and drop text on tag-buckets over desktop

Hi,

 

Is there a functionality through which a small tag box on desktop is ALWAYS displayed and I can drag and drop text and images in it .

is there some another software which can do this?

 

something like download managers which display a small windows on desktop to drop links .

 

I don't like clipping pages through browser or pressing shortcut keys to make a new note everytime .

For documents, you can set up an Evernote import folder (Tools / Import Folders...), and create a shortcut to that folder on your desktop. You can drag files drag (photos and documents, etc.) and even images from your browser (at least Chrome seems to work) to that shortcut and they'll be automatically added to Evernote. Don't know about clipboard contents, though.
