(Archived) Is this search possible?

I have a tag structure like this:

-places

-detroit

-moon

I want to be able to search for notes which aren't tagged with a place. If I add a new note "visit sea of tranquility" and forget to tag it with 'moon', I want it to show up in the search. I don't want to list all the places explicitly because I expect to add more places and don't want to update the search when I do. Can I search for notes which have a tag that has a particular parent?

You can search for notes that are not tagged with "cooking" like this:

-tag:cooking

And this will find notes that have no tags:

-tag:*

There's no way to search for "notes which are not tagged with any of the tags that are organized under a certain parent tag in the UI."
