(Archived) Using EN Client on BB8310 (yes, it works)

I've seen a lot of complaints here -- including one from me -- about the new BlackBerry client not working on the 8310 and similar.

Just to let everyone know - it actually appears to work great on my 8310. Here's what I did:

1. Upgrade OS to 4.5. See instructions here: http://crackberry.com/blackberry-101-ho ... -system-os

(Your work won't let you upgrade, you say? Mine didn't either. It worked anyway.)

2. Install EN from http://s.evernote.com/bbota on the blackberry browser.

I can get the app to install and run on my 8330 -- but have you tried sending a note from the device? When I log in (and every time I try to upload a new note) I get the following error: "Error communicating with the Evernote servers: No more data available" I'm on the Cellular South network (CDMA based). I'll keep trying.

Yes, creating and searching notes from within the client seems to work fine for me. I'm on an EDGE network if that matters.
