(Archived) Ability to pause while recording voice note on iPhone?

Is there any way to pause while recording a voice note on the iPhone? If not, this would be nice functionality to add. I was at a meeting yesterday out of the office. My notes from the meeting were sparse, so immediately after the meeting I sat in my car and dictated a voice note to myself, using the sparse paper notes as a starting point. The problem was that I was trying to gather my thoughts and recall specifics as I dictated the note, resulting in lots of dead air. It would have been nice to be able to pause the recording as I dictated.

There's currently no way to do this in the iPhone app, but thanks for the feedback.
