(Archived) Error code 2732

its been several months and a few new versions of Evernote (including 5.0.2) that i cant install the update on my Windows 7 Professional laptop (Lenovo Thinkpad T430s) and I get the error code 2732 - can anybody assist?

If you search the forums for 2732 there's a lot of published material - which fixes have you tried?

This is the solution that worked for me on my Lenovo laptop running Windows 7 Enterprise.

1. I used Microsoft's Fixit to force the uninstall of version 4.6.3 (see link for instructions)

2. I downloaded the most recent version of Evernote

3. I browsed to C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\Temp and double clicked the Evernote.msi file, which started the install of the most recent version.
