Will there be an option to view notes offline, in the near future? I'm new to EN and the desktop app looks great. Not being able to work in offline mode on my Windows Mobile, makes EN useless for me. It's a pity...

Yes, I agree. I want to be able to access my EverNotes on my WM6 PDA offline. EverNote should be able to cache/sync data to my PDA.

Question for the EverNote team? Is this in the pipeline?

That's not currently available within our WM app itself, but I have a copy of all of my notes in my WM5 mail client using our IMAP gateway:

I've used this pretty often to quickly access a recipe from the Cooking notebook when I'm at the market and forget the ingredients.

Well, it's an alternative. Is the maximum number messages (100) an Evernote thing of a Windows Mobile thing?

I think that our IMAP gateway currently only gives 100 notes per notebook, but if this limit is causing problems, we can raise it pretty easily.
