(Archived) I'm confused about hyperlinks in EverNote

I'm using Evernote Version 5.0.4 (400704) on Mac OS.

I'm having consistent problems with using hyperlinks in Evernote.

I would like to know how to:

• insert and use hyperlinks generally
  

I haven't yet found a description of hyperlink support, nor instructions for how to make them. I did find the Cmd-K keyboard shortcut, but the popup dialog is missing the display text. I also found that I can drag an address from Firefox's address bar, and it will usually be converted into a link.

• use a hyperlink in the title of a note
  
• enable a "create link" button on the formatting tool bar
