I've always been able to search within a notebook easily in previous versions by simply using the search bar to perform a search while I had the notebook open. The new interface requires TWO additional clicks to search within a notebook, even if I already have that notebook open.
I have been an Evernote user for 2 years. I have avoided tags and the creation of numerous notebooks because the search feature has been so easy and effective. This feature change makes Evernote much less usable and might actually force me to spend valuable time reorganizing my entire database to avoid the need to search.
Please compare the previous version with this one - you will see that this is a downgrade from previous usability.
