(Archived) How to open attachments for Evernote on Windows RT Surface Tablet

Hi, does anyone know how to open attachments in evernote on the Microsoft Surface? It took me a long time to synchronise my notes and even then I need an internet connection still to access my notes. I've searched through the settings and there is no option for offline notebooks. After the notes appear fully, the attachment can't seem to open. The attachment/file icon and the file size already appears but it does nothing when I press on it. Anyone experiencing the same issue?

It's a known issue that's high on our priority list. We think the first step is allowing an "Open with..." type of operation. We're also trying to get offline notebooks in soon(ish)
