(Archived) How to set the default file name in Skitch?

I use (the German version of) Skitch with Evernote but from time to time I file bugs into JIRA and geht the error message:

19.10.12 10:30-Schnappschuss.png contains the invalid character ':'. Please rename the file and try again.

This is really annoying and I really, really like to set the default file name for screenshots to something with valid characters only. But I could not find any option to do that.

Is there a way to change the default name in the settings?

There is not currently a way to set a custom default filename or a filename mask, but we will certainly look into it. Thanks for bringing it to our attention.

Has this changed? I use the English version and find it annoying in a different way. I often take screenshots of portions of the same web page, yet when I try to drag the tab to the desktop to create a PNG of that image, it tells me that it already exists. I can simply click Keep Both Files to move forward, but if a timestamp was appended, this wouldn't happen.
