(Archived) Extraordinarily slow SYNC on Droid 3

I've got a rooted Droid 3 with Evernote on it. I am a premium Evernote user. I am attempting to sync notes to the device, but it takes a long time, either on WiFi or 3G.

I see "Downloading headers [0%]" for a very long time (30-45 minutes, if I keep the phone awake that long) with the spinning sync icon whirling away.

Why does it take so long?

I´m not a Premium user, but wondering why it take too long to sync.

I use a Samsum Galaxy S2. I really like Evernote, but same as "vogelap":
