(Archived) Copy paste from from within EN changes formatting, text size, color, bold, underline

I'm using Windows XP and the latest version of EverNote for Windows (at the time of this writing) 4.5.3.6131 (220395) Public.

When copying text from one note and pasting to another note, (within Evernote for Windows) the formatting of the text changes.

The pasted text has altered colors, text sizing, underlining, bold.

Is there a way to make EverNote paste exactly what I copy?

I also have a problem with text turning out to be bold after being pasted into a note from another word processor (where it wasn't bold, at least, not all of it).
