(Archived) Local duplicate/cache copy of audionote?

When I create an audio note via Evernote using my android phone, is a copy of the original recording left on my phone before it is uploaded to Evernote.

I know for example that original copies of pics are left on the phone if I make an Image note of something. I can look in the phone gallery and see the picture. It remains there if I delete the note from Evernote.

I was just wondering if Audio Notes left duplicate copies on my phone.
