(Archived) Scanner for OCR

Hi, is anyone one aware of scanner software that makes the document searchable, much the same as syncing with EN. The objective here is to put it into local notebooks only. I have come across some scanner software but they seem to OCR the text out of the document whereas I am looking for exactly the same result as EN gives after syncing.

Scansnap's software will do that, I believe. I use the S1500 and choose to let EN do the parsing because using the local software lengthens the scan time beyond my patience limit.

Thanks, it seems its compatible with that particular series of Fujitsu scanners only.
