JBPowers 0 Posted December 11, 2011 Posted December 11, 2011 I would love the option to re-map a button on my phone that would allow me to simply hold it down to capture my voice data. For instance, as long as the app is running on my phone, I could just hold down the volume button and speak to crate a new voice note. No need to "wake up"the phone and tap the voice note button on the screen. I work in law enforcement and make dozens of voice notes every day. I have to pull over and park the car before I can create a note. This is obviously a problem if I'm following a car or responding to a call (the job takes presidence so I miss many of the voice notes I would like to make got my end of shift paperwork). If I could simply hold down my volume key and speak, I wouldn't need to stop each time. Thank you,Jbpowers

On the evernote widget, you can press the audio button to make a new noteand start recording right away but the idea quality is bad and iin the progress of being improved.
