kyle113 1
Earlier today, I read the September 7 blog post on the removal of file type restrictions.I checked and updated my Evernote -- it came back that I was up-to-date (version 2.2.1)I then proceeded to add an RTF file to a new note. I received the "Unsupported file attachment type" dialog box.As mentioned earlier, I am using version 2.2.1 of Evernote for Mac and OS 10.5.8 (Leopard)Thanks for your reply,Kyle Link to comment
kyle113 1
Thanks for the reply!Just to summarize, all I would have to do (in order to take advantage of the file restrictions being removed and if I didn't want to use the Web version) is update my OS to 10.6 -- at the least.I would not have to download Evernote again through the Mac App Store, would I?I have also heard that to be in the Mac App Store, developers have had to adjust their applications, in effect making the App Store vary from the original idea/product. Would this be an issue? Thanks again,Kyle Link to comment
heather 604
As you cannot update to the latest client which does not have the file restrictions anymore due to the operating system you're on, you will need to use Evernote Web to add your file attachments. Link to comment
